In this model, agents can walk and use rental bikes available at rental bike stations in Altona, Hamburg, to make their journey within the city. The model is fed real-time data at runtime via a connection to the Hamburg IoT sensor network, which contains information about the current number of available rental bikes per rental bike station.
The following video shows a short visualization of simulation results. It shows how agents in the district of Altona, Hamburg go about their daily schedules. The braking and starting behavior of agents moving in vehicles is also illustrated. The red points and areas are points of interests within the city that agents might navigate to.
